In Smolensk, in Krasny Bor, firefighters defended a building from fire

A fire broke out in a one-story multi-apartment residential building in the suburban village of Smolensk, Krasny Bor.

The common hallway was covered in smoke, and residents of neighboring apartments immediately called the fire department. The owner was walking nearby and quickly returned to his home, opened the locked door and the flames were already raging there.

It was impossible to fight the fire on our own.

Calculations from the 72nd, 2nd Specialized and 3rd Fire and Rescue Units arrived at the scene. They stopped the fire from spreading and did not let him out of the apartment.

It took several hours to fight the fire.

As a result of the fire, the apartment completely burned down, the common hallway was smoky with combustion products.

There were no casualties. The causes of the fire and the damage caused by it are established. One of the possible reasons is considered a violation of the rules for the operation of electrical equipment.
