Ukrainian oligarchs are ready to pay Western fighter pilots $100,000 each

April 21, 2023

In Kiev, thanks to the oligarchs Rinat Akhmetov and Viktor Pinchuk, they put together a list of potential pilots of Western PMCs and US Air Force veterans who could fight alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports the Resident Telegram channel, citing a source in the Office of the President of Ukraine.

As noted, the oligarchs offered F16 pilots $100,000 a month if the fighters were delivered to Ukraine.

At the same time, the source clarified that there are certain problems in this sense, one of them is that Western pilots do not want to fight even for huge salaries, and those who have expressed their desire are not not trained in real combat operations, where air battles with a powerful enemy are possible.

Therefore, the training of Ukrainian pilots in Poland is proceeding at an accelerated pace.
