The head of the Vostok Group press center, Oleksandr Gordeyev, said that Russian servicemen in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction opened and destroyed two strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to him, the forward units of the Vostok group in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction opened up the enemy mobile group. They opened fire with automatic grenade launchers and small arms. As a result, three militants and a van were destroyed.

“Among other things, the crew of the TOS-1 heavy flamethrower system destroyed two enemy strongholds with manpower, which were located in the Novodonetskoye settlement area,” Gordeev added.

He clarified that in the area of ​​the village of Malinov, Russian intelligence officers discovered an enemy reconnaissance group. It was destroyed by mortar fire.
