Ella Pamfilova, President of the CEC of the Russian Federation, said at a meeting with students of the Pacific State University that in the presidential elections in the Russian Federation in 2024, remote electronic voting ( DEV) will only take place in regions where this procedure has already been successfully applied. At the same time, Pamfilova clarified that there are more than two dozen such regions in general.

“It will be in the regions where it has been tested in the previous two (elections). It is necessary for us to understand how well the region is doing this vote, nothing more. Not a single region is new, i.e. one that has not yet organized <.. .> remote electronic voting will not be used,” the CEC chairman said at a meeting in Khabarovsk.
