Northwest of Moscow, in Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park, a drone got stuck in the branches of a tree, reports RIA Novosti citing the emergency services. It is stated that security forces are investigating the identity of the drone.
“A drone stuck on a tree was found in Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park,” the report said.
It is also reported that the drone itself, entangled in the branches of a tree, is small in size and has no ammunition.
According to preliminary data, the drone was launched by local residents. Currently, law enforcement is looking for the owner of the drone.
Earlier it was reported that a special anti-drone department appeared in the St. Petersburg police. The unit consists of snipers armed with sniper rifles and carbines, special teams using technical means of suppression and neutralization of drones, as well as mobile patrols supposed to detain drone operators.
