China-Europe train to deliver humanitarian aid to Spain

On Friday, a train loaded with protective equipment for Spanish doctors headed for Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, to Madrid, The Eastern Herald reported. The China-Europe train is expected to arrive in the Spanish capital in about 20 days.

China sent about 257 tons of protective equipment to Madrid: more than 25 million medical masks and 400 thousand protective suits.

As of the end of May, about 200 trains have already departed from Yiwu on the China-Europe route. In recent months, many of them have delivered humanitarian assistance to various countries. In mid-May, a train headed from Nanchang to Moscow, carrying 1.75 million protective masks.
