From 1 January, Bosnians can only bring two boxes of cigarettes into the EU

From the first day of 2021, BiH citizens traveling to European Union countries can have only two boxes of cigarettes with them. Previously, Bosnian citizens could bring in a pack of cigarettes.

For passengers entering Croatia from Bosnia by road, it is allowed to bring in a maximum of 40 cigarettes, 20 cigarillos, 10 cigars, 50 grams of tobacco, 50 grams of heated tobacco product, 10 milliliters of e-liquid, 50 grams of new tobacco products.

As these are alcoholic beverages, alcohol with a content of more than 22% vol. or undenatured ethyl alcohol of an alcoholic strength by volume of 80% vol. and more you can enter just a liter. Alcohol and alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of 22% vol. and less than two liters, four liters of wine, or 16 liters of beer.

The customs said that the exemption for these excise products cannot be applied to passengers under the age of 17. Payment of import duties are also exempted from fuel in the tanks of means of transport, as well as up to 10 liters of the identical type of fuel in suitable portable tanks for reserve fuel.
