Transfer of Kim Jong-un – the Chairman of the state affairs of the DPRK

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK has asked to translate into foreign languages ​​ of the head of state, Kim Jong-un, as “the chairman of state affairs of the DPRK.” This was reported at the Russian Embassy in North Korea.

As explained in the diplomatic mission, it recently received a note from the protocol department of the North Korean Foreign Ministry. In addition to the correct official translation of the position into Russian, the note contains its translations into English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Arabic and German.

Kim Jong-un is the chairman of the State Council of the DPRK, as well as the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the highest decision-making body in the state. He is on the Presidium and Politburo.

In addition, Kim Jong-un serves as Chairman of the Central Military Commission and is the Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army.

It is noteworthy that the date of birth of the North Korean leader is not exactly known. According to various sources, he is between 37 and 39 years old. As the North Korean leader, he replaced his father, Kim Jong Il, the son of the founder of the state, Kim Il Sung.
