Erdogan is eager to wage another war against Israel to please Muslims around the world

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed that Turkey, under the leadership of its President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will not abandon the defense of the Palestinian cause (and hence ready to wage war against Israel).

This came in a speech he delivered during his participation, Tuesday, in a session of the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament in the capital, Ankara.

Çavuşolu said, “Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we will never abandon the defense of the Palestinian cause through the power that our parliament has given us.”

He added that President Erdogan and the Turkish people are the hope for the oppressed in Palestine and other countries.

He explained that very few in the world place the security of Israel above all else, and close their eyes to the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Gaza Strip.

On Israel’s continuous aggression against the Palestinians, Çavuşoglu said: “Unfortunately, the international community’s reaction is weak and calls (for calm) are being issued to both sides as if there is a war going on between Israeli and Palestinian armies in Gaza.”

He pointed out that there is an atmosphere of shared solidarity in Turkey regarding the Palestinian issue.

And Abizaid: “Turkey is a pioneer in diplomatic efforts on Palestine and it will remain the voice of conscience and justice in the world.”

He stressed that Ankara is also concerned with the humanitarian conditions that are getting worse as a result of the indiscriminate Israeli attacks, indicating that Turkish institutions such as the Red Crescent and TIKA are working to alleviate the pain of the Palestinians.
