House Republicans have launched an investigation into the origins of COVID-19 by sending a series of letters to current and former Joe Biden administration officials asking for documents and testimony.
The Republican chairmen of the House Oversight Committee and the subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic have asked several people for information on the hypothesis of an accidental virus leak from a laboratory in China.
Among those to whom the request was sent is the country’s chief infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
