Previously, mobilized people from Tuva had reported being beaten and threatened with death by representatives of the DPR military police. The head of the republic, Vladislav Khovalyga, later announced that the Ministry of Defense approved the transfer of those called up to the 55th brigade of the Russian armed forces. State Duma Deputy Speaker Sholban Kara-ool noted that he was not seriously injured as a result of the conflict.
