The Russian government has increased the maximum fare for traveling on federal toll highways. The order went into effect on February 18.
According to the text of the document, the maximum rate of movement on federal toll highways of the Russian Federation will be increased from 3 to 5 rubles per kilometer. On new roads – up to 8 rubles for a similar distance. For example, to take the M – 4 Don highway from Moscow to Krasnodar, you will have to pay from 2855 to 3510 rubles.
– The price of trips to St. Petersburg will also increase. To travel along the section of the M – 11 Neva highway from Solnechnogorsk to Tver, you need to pay 390 rubles, from Tver to St. Petersburg another 2000-2100 rubles. The 11-58 km stretch on the M – 11 highway is in the hands of private traders, where the fare already costs up to 1000 rubles. True, private traders will not lag behind and raise tariffs in the future, – notes the block “Apprentice: Travel and aviation”.

The Department of Transport previously reported that since the start of 2021, the cost of building new roads had increased by 12% (excluding inflation). The cost of road repairs has also increased.
