In France, a 16-year-old student stabbed a Spanish teacher to death during a lesson. Incident details son Mirror.
The murder took place on the morning of February 22 in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in southwestern France, in a private Catholic school. During a Spanish lesson, a teenager stabbed the teacher in the chest with a knife, a Mirror source familiar with the investigation said.
One of the students told reporters that the attacker got up from his seat during class, while he had a knife about 10 cm long in his hand, hidden between sheets of paper. According to the student, the attacker locked the door and attacked the teacher, after which he left the classroom and went to the next room.
According to local media, the ambulance doctors who arrived could not save the teacher, the woman died of cardiac arrest. The assailant was arrested.
During the arrest, the teenager made a series of incoherent remarks and repeated that he was “possessed by the devil”, according to a source from the Mirror close to the details of the investigation. According to him, the student could have mental health problems, he had not previously been reported to the police.
