According to him, Kadyrov received the award “for outstanding service to the Chechen Republic and its people, combined with the performance of a heroic act, selflessness and courage demonstrated in the fight against international terrorism and extremism, as well as bold and decisive actions “that contribute to” the preservation of peace and the integrity of the State”.
“Your services to the Chechen Republic and the Russian Federation cannot be overstated and, without exaggeration, deserve special consideration!” Daudov wrote.
As noted by the speaker of the Chechen parliament, Kadyrov was the first recipient of this award. At the same time, according to position about the title, only the leader of Chechnya, that is, only Kadyrov himself, can award it. Head of the Republic said whom he instructed to establish a prize for the hero of Chechnya, “who will fully appreciate the feat of our guys” located in the zone of the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict.
In July 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Ramzan Kadyrov the Order of Alexander Nevsky. The leader of Chechnya also bears the title Hero of Russia. In addition, he was awarded the Orders of Merit for the Fatherland, III and IV degrees, the Orders of Courage and Honor, as well as two Zhukov medals.
