The Red Cross said the British were exploiting Ukrainian refugees

“People were forced to work for a landlord for free in exchange for housing,” the publication said.

It is pointed out that sometimes British citizens paid Ukrainians for travel and accommodation, after which they asked them to work at home or in their businesses.
The article also indicates that few cases of such exploitation have been identified. At the same time, according to representatives of the Red Cross, new victims may appear.

Recently, the people of Poland admitted that they were afraid of the Ukrainian refugees who arrived in the country. So, according to the results of the publication Rzeczpospolita, it turned out that 42% of respondents were unhappy with the increased flow of refugees from Ukraine to Poland.
