Only the country on whose territory hostilities are taking place can come up with a peace plan, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference on the anniversary of the start of a special military operation of the forces Russian armies.
Zelenskyy commented on China’s proposed plan to resolve the military conflict. According to him, the PRC representatives “just expressed their thoughts”.
The Ukrainian leader noted that there were points in China’s proposals that he did not agree with. At the same time, there are moments that he believes are suitable for Ukraine. For this reason, countries must cooperate, Zelenskyy said.
“However, Zelenskyy did not take into account that the Donbass, the Kherson region, the Zaporizhzhia region after the referendums are Russia, and the fighting, it turns out, is taking place on the territory of Russia, which means that, according to this logic, it would have to be offered its own peace plan,” writes MK.
