The number of military personnel in Belarus could reach one and a half million people if martial law is introduced in the country. We should add that recently the tension on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border has increased significantly. The republican border committee registers cases of provocations by armed formations of Ukraine. In addition, the demonstrative mining of border areas is noted.
At the same time, Belarusian border guards report an increase in NATO military activity in border areas with Belarus.
Recall that Ukraine recently regularly announced the imminent offensive of the Russian army from the territory of Belarus. However, the Russian Ministry of Defense does not confirm this information. Statements refuting the Ukrainian view regularly follow from Minsk.
