In Krasnodar, a criminal case was opened after an RGD-5 grenade exploded in an apartment of a multi-storey residential building on Turgenev Street. How informed telegram channel “Typical Krasnodar”, a 34-year-old tenant of a high-rise building inadvertently staged an explosion of ammunition.
The incident happened around 05:30 on February 26. The man who detonated the grenade was intoxicated. During the explosion, he received multiple shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs. The doctors who arrived on duty provided him with medical assistance on the spot and offered to take him to the hospital, but he refused to be hospitalized.
While inspecting the apartment, National Guard officers found another grenade and seized it to dispose of. The victim said that in January 2023 he returned from Donbass, where he participated in hostilities as a volunteer, and brought grenades with him.
