Liam Hesworth sues Miley Cyrus for defamation in the song “Flowers”

Liam Hemsworth doesn’t seem too happy about Miley Cyrus singing about him in new single “Flowers.” The Hunger Games star reportedly sued the pop star and his ex-wife, accusing her of damaging his reputation with information that doesn’t match the real situation. In a document leaked to Twitter, the 33-year-old actor names Cyrus as the defendant in a ‘defamation case’ and claims his song almost cost him a role in the hit Netflix series The Witcher because of his song.Miley released “Flowers” on Jan. 13, Liam’s birthday. In it, she compares their damaged relationship to the wildfire that engulfed her Malibu home they lived in during their marriage, and also hints that her ex-husband cheated on her on multiple occasions.Cyrus and Hemsworth met in 2010 on the set of The Last Song. In 2018, they secretly got married and just as secretly divorced, having not even lived two years.
