If the United States nevertheless decides to take such a step and be the first to carry out nuclear tests, we will be forced to react adequately. No one should have dangerous illusions that global strategic parity can be destroyed, ”he stressed Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that for many years the United States had materially violated the central provisions of the Treaty on Measures to Reduce and Further Limit Strategic Offensive Arms (START) .
