A squirrel came to the window of the leader of Noyabrsk, Alexei Romanov. On March 5, the mayor posted a photo of the hairy guest on his social media pages and said the visit was far from the first.
“This squirrel is a frequent visitor to my window. Noyabrsk squirrels are almost tame – they know they won’t be offended and will always be treated to something tasty,” Romanov wrote.
The photo shows that the animal, skillfully grabbing its paws, sits on the wall of the house near the window.
We add that these rodents are a kind of attraction of the southernmost town of Yamal. Near the municipality administration last year they even installed bronze figurines of funny baby squirrels, which were created by November artist-sculptor Kirill Nikiforov, with the help of his colleagues from Perm and Chelyabinsk.
