St. Petersburg artist Zhenya Lyubich will present the concert program “Songs to Poems of Poets” to residents and guests of the city. From the stage of the concert hall “Coliseum” on March 24, songs will be performed to verses not only by Russian classics, but also by French and English poets.
Zhenya Lyubich is a singer from Saint Petersburg who performs her songs in three languages. In his repertoire one can hear Russian, English and French compositions. His songs often become movie soundtracks, and his concerts are filled with warmth and tenderness.
The presentation of the program took place in 2020, when the performer presented his album “Out loud”, the repertoire of which consisted of music written on the verses of poets. Today there are more compositions and new works will be presented at the concert.
Each composition is written for each poet individually and specially. So, Brodsky sounds like a lullaby, Burns looks like ballads, and Mayakovsky sounds like a blues.
