In Smolensk, an attacker stole a gadget worth 5,000 rubles

In Smolensk, a local resident born in 1966 turned to the police with a statement about the theft of property.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Smolensk region, the victim was visiting, where he drank alcohol in the company of friends. Later, the man went to bed, and when he woke up, he found his mobile phone worth 5,000 rubles missing.

Thanks to the operational search measures, the agents of the Ministry of the Interior managed to identify the suspect. It turned out to be a friend of the victim, a previously convicted neighborhood resident born in 1966. The assailant told police he managed to sell the stolen gadget for 1,000 rubles.

On the fact of this crime, law enforcement agencies initiated criminal proceedings under the article “Theft”. The prisoner faces 5 years in prison.
