Qatar: Liverpool will ban entry to a fan for life

Liverpool announced that it would identify a fan who stormed the pitch and collided with his team’s players while they were celebrating their seventh goal against Manchester United, almost injuring Andy Robertson, and would prevent him from entering Anfield for life. And while the players celebrated the seventh goal during the 7-0 victory, the fan ran onto the field, slipped and collided with Robertson, who fell while holding his ankle, although the Scotsman completed the match. Liverpool said in a statement "There is no excuse for this unacceptable and dangerous behaviour. The safety and security of players, teammates and fans is paramount". added "The club will now follow its official sanctioning procedure and have banned the alleged offender’s account until this process is completed". "If he is found guilty of entering the stadium without permission, it will be added to his record and he will be banned for life from Anfield and all Premier League grounds. These actions are dangerous, illegal, and have severe consequences".
