Qatar: A Lebanese citizen seizes an ammunition store from an Israeli soldier…and the occupation army is on alert

The Israeli occupation army admitted that a Lebanese citizen managed to seize an ammunition clip (bullet magazine) from an Israeli soldier’s weapon in the border area yesterday, Tuesday.

The occupation army said in a statement posted on its website "During an engineering activity on the border with Lebanon, dozens of suspects gathered on the Lebanese side of the Blue Line".

And he added in his statement, according to Al Jazeera Net, "One of the suspects approached the force and took an ammunition clip from one of them’s weapons"He said the incident is under investigation" without further details.

Lebanese media confirmed the validity of the incident, and (Lebanon 24) website said that an enemy Israeli force tried to breach the Blue Line in the southern town of Houla, but young Lebanese civilians confronted it, and a stampede occurred, as a result of which a Lebanese youth was able to snatch the magazine of bullets from the rifle of an Israeli army soldier.

added that "A patrol of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon came to the place immediately and carried out a deployment to calm the situation, amidst a heavy concentration of Lebanese army personnel who secured the protection of civilians there, and stood face to face with the Israeli enemy soldiers.".

And on Sunday, the Lebanese army announced that it had forced an Israeli military patrol to retreat from its country’s southern border after violating the Blue Line in the town of Aita al-Shaab by about one meter.
