Qatar: I want Football Cup .. Announcing the dates of the semi-final and final matches

Today, the Qatar Stars League announced the venues and dates for the semi-final and final matches of the Irid Cup football tournament for the 2022-2023 sports season.

The semi-finals will be held on Thursday, March 23, where Umm Salal will meet Al Arabi at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club, while Al Duhail will play with Al Sadd at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar Club, and the two matches will be held at the same time (9:45 pm).

The final match of the tournament will be held on Monday, the 27th of the same month, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, Al Sadd Club, at 10:00 pm.

Al-Duhail and Al-Arabi qualified for the semi-finals after finishing in the first and second places of the first group, while the teams exited the competition: Al-Gharafa (8) points, Al-Rayyan (5) points, Al-Shamal (4) points, and Al-Markhiya one point.

Umm Salal qualified as the leader of the second group with 13 points, and Al-Sadd finished second with nine points, while Qatar finished third with nine points, on goal difference, followed by Al-Ahly with seven points, then Al-Wakra with four points, then Al-Sailiya in sixth place with one point. .

It is noteworthy that Al-Sailiya won the championship title last season, for the second time in its history, after defeating Al-Wakra by five goals to four, preserving its title in the season before last, which it won by defeating Al-Rayyan in the final with two goals without a response.
