Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Qatar: Qatari gold in the Asian Cup

In a new achievement for Qatari archery at the continental level, Ramia Al Annabi Amal Mahmoud won the gold medal in the moving targets competition at the Asian Shooting Championships that was held recently in Jakarta. Ahmed Al-Sada was also crowned with the gold medal in the Iraqi Sulaymaniyah Shooting Championship in the U-18 bow and arrow competition. The junior girls’ shooters also succeeded in winning the gold medal for the teams, and Reem Al-Sa’i won the bronze medal as well.

In this context, Jassim Shaheen Al-Sulaiti, Assistant Secretary of the Qatar Shooting, Bow and Arrow Federation, indicated that the federation focuses on all games, not just shotgun competitions, and the successes in bow and arrow, pistol and other games are the biggest evidence of these efforts.". Al Sulaiti added "We are very happy with the superiority of Amal Mahmoud in Asia, and before that Reem Al-Sharshani in the Asian Shooting Cup in Kuwait, and also with the superiority of our shooters currently in the Iraqi Sulaymaniyah Championship held in Iraq, and we expect the Qatari shooting champions to achieve more achievements in the upcoming foreign competitions, Continentally and internationally.".
