Tomorrow, Thursday, the activities of the second round of the Qatar Sand Race Challenge Championship will start, which is organized by the Qatar Racing Club for cars and motorcycles, at the private circuit of the Sand Race Race on the sandy beaches of Sealine for two days. After the great success witnessed in the first round and the wide turnout, and the club was keen to meet the wishes of all the contestants, the Organizing Committee for the tournaments in the club made an amendment to some competing categories, and a new category was added, bringing the number of categories that will be held tomorrow to 9 categories instead of 8 this week. The next day, Friday, the competitions for the remaining six categories will be held. According to the championship schedule approved for the competitions of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, registration and technical examinations for both days will start at 3:00 pm, and the arena will open for competitions at 5:00 pm. According to the competition structure, each competitor is given two attempts to pass the track, which is approximately 91 meters long, where the first attempt is made for all competitors from different categories, followed by the second attempt, with a reminder that the registration door will remain open until the end of the first attempt for all categories, provided that it is taken in the end The best time for each contestant to determine the final ranking of the contestants in each category. It is expected for this round that the number of contestants who participated in the last round will double, as well as the Gulf attendance will be at a high level of competitiveness, especially from the champions of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, after the strong numbers that were recorded last week.
