The President of Belarus arrived the day before in Iran for an official visit. This is his third visit to one of the largest states in Southwest Asia, the agency said.
According to protocol, the presidents’ negotiations were preceded by a formal meeting ceremony. Ebrahim Raisi welcomed Alexander Lukashenko before entering the residence. After exchanging handshakes, the Heads of State took their places on the podium.
The main theme of the talks in Tehran, as previously reported by the press service of the President of the Republic of Belarus, will be the development of interaction across the full spectrum of bilateral relations with an emphasis on trade and economic cooperation. The parties will discuss the implementation of projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, transport and logistics. Particular attention will be paid to the situation in the region and in the world as a whole.
