Serbia sacks minister who called for sanctions against Russia

worldwide

The party of the head of the Serbian intelligence service demanded the resignation of the minister, who called for sanctions against the Russian Federation. The “Movement of Socialists” called on the Minister of Economy (Economy) Rade Basta to take decisive action.

A day earlier, Basta said he supported Western sanctions against Russia and called on all ministers to speak out on the issue.

“If the Minister of Economy is not an expert, but a politician, then he is addressing (the former mayor of Belgrade, the opponent Dragan – editor’s note) Djilas and the others <...> who are for the end of the economy , brotherly and friendly ties with official Moscow and the Russian people, ”said the leader of the “Movement of Socialists” Alexander Vulin. He also said that he expects Basta to personally resign from the Serbian government, which will show how important it is for him what he is asking for, if he does not receive the support of other ministers in the fight against Serbia's independent and neutral freedom-loving policy. RIA Novosti wrote about this.Earlier it became known that national Internet providers in Lithuania are now required to block all IP addresses that can allow you to watch Russian TV channels.
