Qatar is close to buying Manchester United

According to British media reports, the bidders to buy Manchester United Football Club will hold talks with the club’s management in a stadium "Old Trafford" this week.

And Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe have previously submitted their offers to acquire the 20-time England champion, according to AFP.

Neither bid reached the 6 billion pound ($7.2 billion) threshold set by the owners.
