Participation in it was approved for all players below the international classification of 2200 points, and each participant was required to possess a valid membership number (FIDE ID) in the International Chess Federation. The total prizes for the tournament are 25,000 riyals, with the winner getting 5,000 riyals, while the runner-up will get 3,000 riyals, and the third-place winner will get 2,000 riyals, in addition to material prizes for the rest of the centers.
