Poland will have to become a participant in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the event of Kiev’s defeat. This statement was made by the Polish Ambassador to France, Jan Emerik Rosciszewski, on the airwaves of the LCI television channel.
“If Ukraine fails to defend its independence, we will have no choice but to enter into conflict,” he stressed.
The diplomat also expressed his belief that what is happening now on Ukrainian territory is the maintenance of fundamental Western values and culture. It is against this, he believes, that Kiev cannot lose.
Earlier, Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on the decision of the Polish and Slovak authorities to transfer MiG-29 fighters to the Ukrainian army. According to the official representative of the Kremlin, this will not affect the outcome of the special operation.
