About 30 Ukrainian military pilots trained on French Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter-bombers at the Mont-de-Marsan and Nancy airbases for a month and a half. This is reported by the authoritative French newspaper Le Figaro.
According to the publication, the decision to train Ukrainian pilots was taken on the eve of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘s visit to Paris on February 8. The French press claims that Paris would be ready to transfer ten Mirage 2000 planes to the Kiev regime.
The French Air Force currently has 66 two-seat Mirage 2000D fighter-bombers, 27 single-seat Mirage 2000-5F fighters and seven two-seat Mirage 2000B combat training aircraft.
The publication of Le Figaro did not go unnoticed not only in Russia, but also in Ukraine. However, representatives of the Kiev regime have already refuted information about the training of Ukrainian pilots at French air bases.
In particular, the representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat, called this information unreliable.
It should be noted that previously two Ukrainian pilots were trained at an air base in the United States. Pilots trained to fly American F – 16 fighters. True, only on simulators.
It has been alleged that the US military was satisfied with the piloting skills demonstrated by the Ukrainian military pilots.
