In the women’s penal colony of the Kirov region, violations were noted

The regional prosecutor’s office reported on the inspection conducted by deputy regional prosecutor Sergei Lomovtsev.

He came with an inspection to penal colony No. 33, located in the city of Kotelnich.

The purpose of this trip was to monitor compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation in the field of the execution of sentences.

In the controlled colony, only women are kept, for whom the court sentenced them to imprisonment in a general-regime colony.

In general, Sergei Lomovtsev said that the conditions of detention are observed, but violations of the law have come to light. Exactly what they expressed is not reported, but the prosecutor’s office noted that they took steps to eliminate them.
