In Voronezh, vandals destroyed the cemetery “on Baki” in the Left Bank district of the city

Residents of Voronezh have complained about an act of vandalism at the Levoberezhnoye cemetery in Voronezh, better known as the “on Baki” cemetery due to the nearby oil storage facility. The cemetery gained its fame after the famous Voronezh musician Yuri Khoy, who “invented” the genre called “collective farm punk”, was buried there.

On Friday, March 24, the Voronezh No. 1 Telegram channel published photos of the anarchy that is happening in one of the neighborhoods of the cemetery. The broken crosses and toppled tombstones shown in the photo look depressing.

The author of specifies that the act of vandalism was discovered by him on March 23 in the 32a district. When asked when this happened, the cemetery caretaker struggled to answer.
