The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation approved a draft law on the creation of a free economic zone in new regions

The government of the Russian Federation has approved a draft law on the creation of a free economic zone (FEZ) in new regions. This was reported on the Cabinet’s website.

“To approve the draft federal law “On the free economic zone in the territories of the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporizhzhia region and the Kherson region” and submit it to the State Duma in the prescribed manner” , the list of government decisions following the March 24 meeting said.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers approved and decided to submit to the State Duma a draft law establishing tax incentives, including income tax, property tax, with respect to land for participants in the free zone.
