The German Ministry of Defense has confirmed that 18 Leopard 2 type A6 tanks, previously promised by the country’s government, have arrived in Ukraine.
“Promised – delivered: 18 Leopard 2 A6 tanks, along with ammunition and spare parts, arrived in Ukraine today,” the Defense Ministry tweeted.
Also, 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles were transferred to help Kiev. At the same time, it should be noted that the German government hides the exact route of arms deliveries for security reasons.
On the eve it became known that Ukrainian fighters had completed their training in Germany, during which they had mastered Leopard 2 tanks.
