Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Milk production increased by 7% in the Novgorod region

In January and February 2023, milk production in the Novgorod region increased by 4% to 8,400 tons.

Such a jump in milk production is due to an increase in milk productivity of cows. In January and February, milk production per cow in agricultural organizations increased by 7% and amounted to 898 kilograms.

According to the Novgorodstat portal, cows give the most milk in agricultural organizations in the Khvoininsky district – 1208 kg per cow, in the Krestetsky district – 1139 kilograms and in the Batetsky district – 1021 kilograms.

Recall that in the Novgorod region 37 agricultural organizations and 176 farms are engaged in dairy farming.
