On March 29, Galina Burkova, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Kirov region, met with the head of the region. She told Alexander Sokolov about the long-term problem of residents of emergency houses.
The process of recognizing housing unsuitable for life, she says, has been artificially delayed by city and regional authorities. For this reason, many houses in which it is not only impossible to live, but also dangerous, did not receive status and were not included in the federal resettlement program.
Alexander Sokolov, in response to what he heard, said that he already knew about it, since locals wrote to him about this in the comments.
At the end of the conversation, the governor reassured Galina Burkova with a message that he asked his subordinates to find a solution for such houses.
