The diplomatic mission is convinced that the country was gradually deprived of foreign policy sovereignty in order to become another American colony.
“It is well known that the country began to be drawn into the North Atlantic Alliance long before the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. When a formal reason appeared, the fear of our country awoke and stoked, and the logical conclusion was an order from Washington: stop pretending to be independent, all of Northern Europe must become a new NATO front against Russia,” the article says. .
Today we learned that Sweden had refused to make special promises to Hungary in return for joining NATO.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara would respond positively to Finland’s NATO candidacy, given its adequate position. As for Sweden, Erdogan said that it had not fulfilled its obligations to Turkey and therefore the Turkish parliament would not yet vote for Sweden’s entry into NATO.
