Some even forgot to get their hands on the country’s Constitution.
In Kazakhstan, after the elections, a new composition of the country’s parliament – the Majilis – begins to function. Before starting work, deputies must take an oath on the Constitution of Kazakhstan. However, many deputies did this with difficulty – only experienced deputies were able to pronounce the text without hesitation or error.
Curious mistakes and stammering of deputies during the swearing-in are discussed by Kazakhs on social networks. The published images show how the parliamentarians take turns on the podium and, placing their right hand on the Constitution, read a short text from the monitor:
“I swear to faithfully serve the people of Kazakhstan, to strengthen the integrity and independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to strictly observe its Constitution and laws, to conscientiously fulfill the high office of deputy entrusted to me. ”
However, not everyone managed to read a simple enough sentence. Some forgot to put their palm to the Constitution, while others stuttered and misinterpreted the words.
As the local portal Tengrinews.kz notes, experienced deputies, experienced in debates and primaries, were immediately visible. For such parliamentarians, the text bounced back to their teeth. But the problems arose above all among the newcomers to the Mazhilis. Journalists suggest that many MPs simply became worried and therefore began to confuse the words of the oath and make ridiculous mistakes. Moreover, in the comments they note that even a Russian deputy was able to read the oath in the Kazakh language without error, unlike ethnic Kazakhs.
“I watched the recording of Deputy Shatalov’s swearing-in. I can only praise the good boy! You can see he’s trying to speak the official language, he was a little worried, but it’s clear he was preparing. Good luck!” — residents of the country write in the comments.
“Shame, not curiosities. Was it really impossible to know what kind of deputies they were? They dishonor themselves and their constituents,” another user notes.
“Double. Shame and disgrace, and they will write the laws, control the work of the government and much more! — outraged in the comments.
Earlier, a blogger from Kazakhstan opened the eyes of Russians to the real reasons for the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. The Kazakh woman said that it was her compatriots who liberated Russia from foreign invaders more than 100 years ago. two hundred years.-Kazakh deputies did not take the oath without mistakes and the stutter appeared for the first time on Current Articles.
