Trump himself, before his arrest, on his social network Truth Social also called the situation “surreal” and noted that he could not believe it was happening in the United States.
The White House, in turn, said it was ready for riots after the court verdict was announced. At the moment, his supporters and opponents gathered near the building where Trump is, waving flags, shouting various slogans and insulting each other.
