The New York State Attorney’s Office in Manhattan has released a full list of allegations against former US President Donald Trump. It consists of 34 articles. The former US executive has been charged with first-degree falsification of business documents.
Investigators say the Trump Organization’s financial records were falsified when paying former pornographic actress Stephanie Clifford money for not disclosing information about her relationship with Trump. The ex-president himself declares his innocence.
Recall, today at the Manhattan Criminal Court was held a meeting in the Donald Trump case. Prior to the filing of charges, the former US leader was taken into custody. After the hearing, he left the room and went to his residence in Mar-a-Lago.
The next meeting will take place in eight months. It is scheduled for December 4, 2023.
Earlier it was learned that Donald Trump’s lawyers wanted to file a motion to transfer the case to the more conservative Staten Island neighborhood in New York. It is expected that there the jury will be better disposed towards the ex-president, and in court in Manhattan, allegedly, a fair trial should not be counted on.
