Criminal case brought over the beating of a child with cerebral palsy in a kindergarten

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the beating of a child with cerebral palsy by a teacher in Balashikha

The investigator opened a criminal case about beating a child in Balashikha under part 1 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Negligence”. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region.

Law enforcement will conduct an investigation and establish all the circumstances of the incident. They plan to conduct interrogations and appoint forensic examinations. As part of the investigation, a legal assessment of the educator’s actions will be given.

Earlier, it was reported that the mother of a child with cerebral palsy said her son was beaten by a teacher who was supposed to help the child adjust. It turned out that other parents complained that their children had been beaten.
