Several thousand people came to the funeral and farewell ceremony of military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, who died in a terrorist attack in a cafe in St. Petersburg, at the Troekurovsky cemetery. The ceremony was attended by the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, where security measures were also observed – there were people with machine guns.

Experts have suggested the terrorist attack that killed the war correspondent could happen again. therefore, all necessary security measures were taken during the ceremony to protect thousands of visitors.

Tatarsky’s funeral changed traffic patterns. It was possible to get to the Troekurovsky cemetery only by regular bus or by car with a special pass. However, absolutely all vehicles were thoroughly inspected by law enforcement. All visitors to the cemetery walked past the metal frames and showed the contents of the backpacks.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that a Wagner sledgehammer was brought to Tatarsky’s coffin. The head of the PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, did not stay long at the ceremony and quickly left.
