During investigative measures, German specialists managed to find traces of an explosive device on the pleasure yacht Andromeda, which is associated with the sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. The American newspaper The New York Times writes about it, referring to German officials.
The material also indicates that two of the boat’s crew members used fake Bulgarian passports.
According to the publication, the Andromeda was chartered on September 5 in the German port of Rostock, then it was moored in the harbor of the small island of Christianso.
At the same time, local residents and experts doubt that six crew members, even with experienced divers, can install explosives on the pipelines, since they are at a depth of about 80 meters and the power of explosion was 2.5 points on the Richter scale.
Earlier, investigating the case of sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, Swedish prosecutor Mats Jungqvist gave a statement on the main version considered by the investigation. According to him, “with a high degree of probability” behind the explosions is a state-backed and sponsored group.
The author of the Nord Stream sabotage investigation, Seymour Hersh, has in turn said that the publications in the Western media on the terrorist attacks on the gas pipelines are an attempt by the CIA to attract the attention of the world. on possible suspects, with the exception of US President Joe Biden.
According to him, the CIA “leaks” false stories in the American media and publications of other countries.
