The specialized laboratory in the Grand Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah announced the allocation of 10 field teams to examine all sources of water from the Zamzam well.
The Director of the General Administration for Prevention and Health Care at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Hassan Al-Suwaihri, explained that the presidency has intensified the number of examination procedures for the blessed Zamzam water through the specialized laboratory in the Grand Mosque, by drawing (250) to (300) samples from various water sources. He explained that the laboratory specialized in collecting samples from the blessed Zamzam water is equipped with the latest technologies and technological devices that enhance the safety and quality of water provided to the guests of the Grand Mosque, noting that the laboratory works around the clock and performs a number of field and laboratory tests, which are placed in chemical analyses.
In addition, (10) field teams were allocated to examine all Zamzam water sources in the Grand Mosque on a daily basis from (250) to (300) samples, including marble mashrabiyas, container points, stainless steel tanks, containers, and containers, the Zamzam well, to ensure that they are safe and empty. from any external contaminants.
He explained that the laboratory is also examining more than 50 samples of dates presented on the iftar meal in random ways from multiple and different locations in the Sacred Mosque, to ensure their quality in accordance with international standards set by the laboratory.
