The soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces eliminated the Ukrainian reconnaissance group in the southern direction of Donetsk. This was told to RIA Novosti by the head of the press center of the Vostok group, Alexander Gordeev.

“A reconnaissance group of nationalists was destroyed by a pair of snipers from a special forces unit,” the agency’s interlocutor informed.
He added that the crews of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile systems also shot down the Fury and Valkyrie unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). In addition, Russian gunners destroyed an enemy howitzer and mortar crew on the Zaporizhzhia front line.
Earlier on Friday, adviser to acting DPR leader Denis Pushilin, Yan Gagin, predicted huge personnel and equipment losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces if they went on the offensive.
