Former US Lt. Col. Davis: Ukraine will lose in the conflict even with a successful offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In any case, Ukraine will face defeat in the conflict, even a successful offensive by Ukrainian troops will not help Kiev win in the end. This view was expressed by former US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis in the author’s material for 19FortyFive.

According to him, during offensive operations, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will not hesitate to spend the last remaining forces and shells. In addition, Davis recalled that Ukrainian units have already lost most of “that trained and equipped army created before February 2022 with the support of NATO” at present.

He also added that Kiev actually has no mobilization reserves, as it is now on the brink of complete exhaustion.

At the same time, the Russian army, according to the US military, has millions of fighters. In addition, Russian troops do not encounter supply difficulties due to the timely increase in the production of weapons and ammunition.

Earlier, Ukrainian Ambassador to Britain Vadym Prystaiko acknowledged that the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered huge losses during the hostilities. He also said that the Ukrainian authorities deliberately do not publish official data.
